The 6th Edition of Techdays extends to the center of Aveiro with a new configuration resulting from the growth and success of previous editions. The event takes a format closer to the community, to demonstrate the use of technology to improve the quality of life of citizens, and across the board in areas such as mobility, energy, education, culture or the environment. This edition of Techdays will give visibility to the importance of technology as an accelerator of innovation in favor of economic development and improving the quality of life of citizens. It is in this new context of evolution, and with a new and innovative configuration, that it becomes essential to bring together people, companies, research institutes and solutions of the latest technological generation in a real context, where it will be possible to watch demonstrations of how to live and work in the city in a new digital and connected reality. In addition to talks on the most current topics in the area of innovation and technology, many new developments are expected, such as workshops, demonstrations and activities to promote education, in particular the STEAM competencies (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) , and an enhanced gaming area. The City opens to visitors of Tech Days as a stage for the presentation, exhibition and exploration of new concepts and projects brought by the initiative's partners, to which will be added the demonstrations developed by the finalist projects of the Aveiro 5G Challenges contest and the Aveiro contest projects Urban Challenges.
